Ductile failure prediction of pipe-ring notched AISI 316L using uncoupled ductile failure criteria

چکیده

The goal of this work is to predict ductile failure pipe-ring notched AISI 316L specimens, where notches mimic the geometry corrosion defects. Uncoupled damage models are used that end. Johnson-Cook and Lou-Huh criteria calibrated. uncoupled calibrated using experimental results from testing specimens. Calibration was achieved a hybrid experimental-numerical approach. Six notch shapes studied. Experimental matrices designed determine these shapes, specimen inspired literature. require crack initiation indicator. first indicator based on derivative curves force versus connectors displacement curve. second raw images gage section. third percentage at fracture. Results show fracture depends Lode paramater. As consequence, criterion more effective predicting than criterion.
